we’ll get right on it

yesterday in Marketing class we were discussing marketing for homes for the elderly, and I mentioned that it would be a good idea to target middle-aged people, as they are quite often the ones who have to make decisions regarding long-term care for their parents.

only in French, I didn’t actually say “middle-aged people”. I said “the people from the Middle Ages”.

yeah.

so anyway, if you have to do any marketing in France in the future, you might want to look elsewhere.

something hard to learn

European accounting standards, taught in French.

they’re just different enough for you to think they’re pretty much the same as in the States and then be thoroughly confused when they aren’t. And all of the French account names are boggling my inner noggings.
