the goings on
spent the weekend in San Antonio. It’s fun to see Callum interact with my sister-in-law’s two sons, one of whom is a bit younger than Callum, the other a bit older. Callum is talking up a storm – every day he brings new words into his vocabulary. And there are a lot of words that he knows that he hasn’t yet spoken – every now and then he will point at something and tell us what it is, for the first time, unprompted.
I’m doing well – still healing, going for walks, and preparing for my trip to France in late August/early September. I’m also writing again – I’ve vowed to write for an hour every day. I’m happy about my new story and hope that I can keep up the momentum!
not much more than that going on!
It’s funny that you posted, though. I was just thinking about you yesterday and wondering how you’re doing.
I forgot, though…healing?
indeed – from back surgery no less – but it’s going well!
I’m glad you are feeling better! It’s good to hear you are writing again. You have a great imagination for stories. Do you know I still have two of the ones you wrote way back? 🙂
oh the blackmail possibilities!
I still remember calling my character a hit man, before I even knew what a hit man was. Then when I learned that a hit man’s sole purpose was to kill people (something my character never did) I had to cover it up somehow. Too funny.
I guess writing is all about constant learning!
Yay writing! Yay story!
(More coherently: I’m so glad you’re writing again. Are you posting your work anywhere public?
I probably should do that – might be fun! I will post when I do!
Way to go- you doing the Nano thing this year? Is it even still in existence?
it’s probably on late this year, but I don’t think I’ll be doing it – I’ll be in school – you?
Will I be in school or doing the Nano thing? Both probably, school for sure. Did you finish the novel two years ago?
