Paths to adventure
I don’t know about you, but I love paths like this one. Callum and I encountered it while taking a long walk in Prague near the Botanical Garden of the Faculty of Science at Charles University. To me, this path speaks of grand adventure – that traveling up these steps into the lighted space beyond would reveal some undiscovered mystical wonderland. I love the rusted metal signs affixed to the wall on the right, and the patchwork masonry of the stone walls flanking the path.

Here’s the interesting part: Callum and I never took this path. We chose the trail that was just to our right when I took this picture and walked up some steep steps to the top of a wall overlooking Vinohrady and Folimanka Park. So I still don’t know what we might have discovered if we’d taken this path.
