Thermal mineral springs at Karlovy Vary

Today Callum and I took a day trip to Karlovy Vary, a popular spa town in the Czech Republic. It took two hours to get there by bus, and it only cost 140 Czech crowns for a two-way trip (on top of our PID annual pass), so it was definitely worth doing. It was a beautiful spring day in Karlovy Vary, and it was fun to try the different thermal mineral springs dotted throughout the town.

I didn’t get such great pictures, as it was very crowded and there weren’t any really good spots to take photos of the town, but I took what photos I could.

Becherplatz in Karlovy Vary.
Apparently, Karlovy Vary is also the home of the liquor called Becherovka, which (as far as I have seen) is the most popular Czech liquor. There was a place with a tour and a little tasting area called Becherplatz. We didn’t do the tour or sampling, but we did walk in to see what it was all about.
