Prague Christmas markets

One of my favorite things about living in Europe is the markets that spring up around many European towns around Christmastime. This evening Callum and I went to Náměstí Míru, a city square near where we live in Prague. The square is currently full of wooden Christmas market stalls selling various foods (like Trdelník pastries), drinks (like warm cups of grog), and a variety of hand-made crafts.

After checking out the Christmas market we headed to a nearby pub where a French language meetup was being held, and practiced speaking French for a little while. Which was also nice – it’s been a while since I’ve done that!
